Not worth it... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/1/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   In an attempt to help clear a couple of things up: There IS now a problem with drugs.(I've witnessed it as well) and the parking garage is not safe at all. It really is a shame because by outward appearances, FV gives the impression of being a luxury apartment complex that would appeal to professionals. They HAVE just recently gotten a little better about upkeep. (lots of bugs and cob or spiderwebs around the pool last summer. Broken remote controls and FILTHY weight room, dog poop on the walking paths for example)Hopefully it will continue to get better. The staff does "act" nice but they really only assist to a certain extent. I have reported the same few problems repetitively over several months and to no avail. In addition: Fire alarms have gone off numerous times in the middle of the night for 20 to 40 minutes before someone turns them off. (This has been over a period of at least 8 months, not just while they were working on the alarms) Once, WE had to let the fire department in after they were waiting outside the gate to get in. It's NOT quiet at all. So if you get up early for work or school, it's not conducive to sleeping or studying. There are now cars blasting loud music driving by at all times of the day and night. Loud talking and shouting on the premises late at night is also a problem. The walls are very thin and too much can be heard. Yes, no place is perfect but for the amount of rent charged, it really is NOT worth it in my opinion. By the way, I happen to be a professional who does work long hours and have to be up very early. It's been very frustrating. All I want to do is warn prospective tenants in a fair and honest way.
