On the day that you see the property the office help are very polite, nice and helpful. Once you sign the lease-forget about being polite. I have never dealt with office help at an apt complex that are so rude and not helpful in the least bit. They act like you are working for them-seems a bit odd I think. On several occasions (about 10) I had to ask at least 5 times to get some things done (like getting an extra key-seems pretty easy enough-Not here). The staff don't communicate anything to each other. So if you need something ask at least 3 office help about it everyday at least 3 times a day. Maintenance sucks. They came into my apt-never was made aware of them coming in to change my thermostat. They took pictures off the wall and left them on the ground. They drilled into the wall and left the sawdust all over the floor. The gym was old and not updated-they just now did that and have a reasonable workout area now. The business office-actually what business office. The 2 computers they have are infected by so many viruses that they don't work. So, if moving here make sure you have intenet and a computer. Parking-very little guest parking. Guest parking is full most of the time. Cars-broken into at least a few times per month. My car was broken into three times during my short stent of living there. The gates-never worked once when I lived there. Thus, anyone can enter as they please. Security used to sit outside my apt and play hand held video games and read-glad my rent was going toward their free time. Office staff will tell you things that are clearly not true. Example they told me my rent was going up by 15-20 dollars per month-actually it went up about 50-60/month. Make sure that if you make the mistake of choosing this complex that you give them notice 60 days prior to you lease being up. Most apt complexes are 30 days-not Fountain View. They do send you a 50 day notice (not 60 days), but they still probate your rent for the extra month that many people end up paying. They send a bill each month for rent and other expenses. I paid the exact amount on several occasions-and then would get a note outside my door saying I would owe and additionaly 40-50 dollars (unknown reason why) that must be paid in full within 24 hours or I would be charged late fees. If you ask the office help why-they usually act again like you are working for them and they give you some BS answer and then charge you the late fee. There is a constant beeping sound that is in one of the garages that happens (not sure what it is) several times per year (usually lasts entire weekends). Dog crap all over the grass is nice to see. Trash piles up so high a child could play king of the mountain-pretty nasty if you ask me. The pool is dirty with cigs all over. I had other tenants parking in my parking spot on multiple occasions. The outside grills are disgusting with old meat caked on with flies everywhere. And I really can't emphasize how rude and disrespectfull the office staff are! So, not much good to say about this place-hope you don't make the same mistake I did by choosing this place-good luck
