DO NOT LIVE HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I have lived at Fountain View for a number of years (am moving out now!) and I agree with the majority of people writing on here. The location is nice, the apartments are ok but LOUD, and the management is terrible! They treat you like dirt, are only interested in your money, and on weekends are more interested in checking out the guys at the pool than helping you with any issues you may have.
Also, the walls are really thin. People who live above you sound like they are stomping on your head even when they walk normally around their apartments. Its VERY LOUD!
The place also floods every year. I am not kidding! The pipes burst in the wintertime because of the cold and people have to evacuate their places in the middle of the night - THAT IS NOT A JOKE! Ask them why they refurbished the place, and they will tell you (if they are honest) that they flooded 2 buildings this past winter. Not only that but they treated the tenants who got flooded out like criminals! Ask to speak to a former tenants of the flooded buildings if you decide to live in this nightmare of a complex.
Also fair WARNING: the girls who will sign you up if you decide to get an apartment will be all nice and friendly to you at first. But once that lease is signed - they will forget you exist and treat every issue that you have (and there will be many in these buildings) like you are the biggest pain in the ass and will do everything to just to get rid of you.
Good luck in your search and for goodness sake - look elsewhere!

that is absolutely true about the management (AND the flooding - we stood outside for two hours one night in the freezing cold while the fire alarm screamed through my apartment, watching the firemen tromp in and out.). But regarding the management, good lord - i thought she was so nice and pleasant, signed lease, and then Never got her to pick up phone, No One ever returned my calls, and i seriously started leaving messages every day, they screwed up my rent amount, screwed up my move-in date, screwed up Which Apartment i was getting, etc. and every time i called and got no response, i would have to just show up there, where i would find the girls chatting with each other and watching the pool, and acting all surprised when i showed up. Horrible horrible horrible.

Well I am sorry to hear about your experience. I remember the days well of the shrieking fire alarms in the cold winter nights! I'm sure it will happen again this winter given how horrible the management staff is. I am seriously considering a lawsuit against the complex given how they have treated me and I know there are other residents, current and former, interested in joining a class action. The management has totally forgotten how to treat people. Eventually Karma or a lawsuit will catch up with them! I hope you have found a better place to live!

If there is a class action suit, I want in! My place flooded 3 times, twice this winter and once last summer. BTW - when my place flooded when I was home for christmas, they didn't even tell me. I came home, sat on my bed, and realized it was dripping wet. And I know they had been in my unit, since the fire alarm had been taken off. So, I called the city inspector - its illegal to leave standing water in an apartment - which they had done for 3 days. That got them moving...
