Fountainhead

Well it no 4 star hotel but the location is great From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/15/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   First I must describe myself so you can understand from where I am coming from when I share my view of Fountainhead. I am a male who has lived in a fraternity house and tend to be a person who strives to understand and keep my perspective in the real world and hates people who loves drama. Now for my review, This place is not bad at all, yes its older then 10 years, Yes there is diversity here with folks who been here for over 5 years (aka "lifers"). Everyone here has a dog so get a dog so you won't complain about dog poop everywhere. Landscaping could be better but I don't care this is just a place for me to live for now and not my home. Maintenance: The only real problem I had was when it rain hard the front portion of my living room carpet would get soaked. This happen through my 2nd summer here. Maintenance came each time to clean my carpet until they figured out that the gutter was overfilling due to leaves and would back flow into the wall. Anyway they fixed it and fixed all my other issues. Getting maintenance usually did not take much effort maybe one or twice I had to call again to remind them but those issues do not bother me to much. Management: Management is always going through a transition for getting new site managers 24/7 so if you feel you need to make friends with management good luck. I just go in to give them my rent and pick up packages and that is mostly it. If you want them to care about you I suggest some form of present since I would suspect this type of job sucks hardcore. Location: OMG the location is great less then 15min from Plaza and Westport and even closer to Brookside and Wald. There is a grocery store less than a mile away on 103rd street and Ward Parkway mall. Also Indian Creek trail is close by. Conclusion: What I like most is location, if you rent here get the second or third floor to prevent flooding and you won't here the people above you walking around.
