This is a great place to live. I have lived here for about a year and everyone is very friendly. I did read the review about the "dog kennel" and find that to be RIDICULOUS! Granted this place is very pet friendly...but it never smells like it. You only hear someones pet if you get to close to their door and it barks or otherwise! The lofts are all very unique and deffinately make you value the opportunity to be living in an affordable downtown metropolis like Kansas City!

I have to disagree with this review. One woman in our building didn't feel like training her dog, so there was always a trail of pee from the elevator to outside. I even saw her let the dog do this several times, and she just looked at me while the dog proceeded to poop in the parking lot. Nice. Also, I could hear an obnoxious black standard poodle 8 doors down from me all day and night. I never even walked by the door since I had an exit closer to me. So the dog kennel review is right on. We may just have a keener sense of hearing and smell than the person who wrote this review.

i have to agree with the black poodle being obnoxious. i live there also and the owner of that dog constantly lets her dog run around without a leash on and doesn't even try to stop it when it runs up to jump on people. it's VERY annoying! however, as far as the rest of the building goes i think it is a great place to live and i have never found the place to smell like a kennel. i would definitely not be living there if that was the case, because i like my things clean! the people there are very nice and friendly. the only downside i would say is that there is only one maintenance person.
