I lived here for about three years. Where to start. Lets start with the roof. You may not need water from the tap, as you will get water dripping from your ceiling whenever it rains. They did not change the carpet when I moved here. I dont think it was changed in 10-15 years. You can barely tell the color of the carpet anymore.

I will give onething. Although the area does not look very safe, I did not have any security problem here. I have not heard of anybody losing anything here. May be thieves get discouraged looking at the building exterior. But dont mistake by thinking that the rent is cheap. The rent they will ask, you can get good apartments in Overland Park.
If you have maintenance request, serious or regular, dont expect to get it done before a week. The poor maintenance guy runs around so much fixing things, all over the place, that he cant even keep up with the work orders.
When I moved in here there were some working professionals here. For the last year I have seen they have brought in all the wierdos.

I would say that if you want to get the most of your money, look elsewhere. You will get a lot better apartment for this money.
