Holmeswood Apartments

Okay From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/15/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   I agree that leaks and cracks are a big problem. Aside from those we have always had quick and satisfactory maintenance responses. In fact, if not for the TERRIBLE leaks (we need three buckets to catch them all when it rains), we might continue here another year. The apartments definitely need updated-- tile and carpets need to be replaced. Parking is limited. Not very good maintenance of shared hallways and stairwells--they are ugly, dirty and stinky. We have not had trouble with the management--I guess we must be manager's favorites (see other reviews). But we did have friends who were repeatedly accused of having a pet when they did not have one. Positives: These apartments definitely need some updates, but are a good size for the price and security has been improved somewhat by putting locks on outside doors. It is hard to find this price and size plus W/D hookups in an apartment. Good location as far as highway access. Neighborhood is not as bad as it might look.
