We moved here in 2004 and since then have been through at least 8 different managers -- I couldn't tell you how many staff members -- but, the turnaround period is generally six months.

I was here when the one person here wrote about the one manager who wouldn't talk directly to the tenants and stayed baracaded in her office -- s/he was telling the truth, that was truly bizarre.

Initially, the newest manager -- Brooke was NOT a pleasant person. But over the last few months her people skills have improved. The newest staff member, Rita, is best they've had in a very long time.

Also, I have to give management credit for getting rid of the criminal/riff raff element here -- it is a safer community as a result.

Hower, this along with the parties and other activities here unfortunately this does not compensate for tenants -- good tenants like us being treated like crap, repairs taking forever and a host of other problems you see listed here.

We live in a townhouse, and considering our living conditions -- it should be less, and I've seen other places in this area that are in better condition and cheaper.

When we moved in 2004 I was told certain cosmetic repairs would be taken care of BEFORE we moved in, then we were assured it would be done DURING our move in, then WHILE we lived there... and now that we are moving on in 2006 -- the repairs still haven't been done. I've tried being patient and understand, now I'm just through being so nice.

What's sad is considering the location and the grounds, this should and could be a fantastic place to live... and it's a damn shame it isn't.

If you have options and other places to look -- do yourself a favor and avoid the hassle and headache of living here.

Just wanted to let you know that i use to work for maxus and now I don't. But currently live on another sister property of knollwood and when you give your notice to move they will try charging you for what they should have fixed and promised to fix but haven't fixed yet, and won't fix now that your moving.
