Library Lofts

think twice From: thebackupgirl Date posted: 3/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 1 photo   I have lived in waltower lofts for a little over a year now - they are one of the library lofts buildings at 9th and walnut. I LOVE my apartment....super cute, the price is not horrible and it's downtown - what more could you ask, right' Not only is the maintenance horrible here, as in it is nearly impossible to get anything fixed ever, but the leasing office is completely incompetent. I called because I had a roof leak for two months and no one ever came to fix it. When we had a tornado a few weeks ago, I came home to an apartment covered in a few inches of water....do you know the leasing office will not pay a single dime to replace anything that results from their or their maintenance team's general incompetence' Yeah, all that flood damage is my problem even though I called for two months to get it fixed. My garbage disposal is now broken and I'm guessing it will not be fixed ever. They also will raise the rent on you in the middle of your lease and you have no recourse - you have to pay. Just make sure you know what you are getting into when you move to any of their buildings - think twice!
