I have lived in the Library lofts for just about a year now and have several complaints about this living space. First and foremost, my friend lives below me and while he was moving some of his things, he had some boxes of personal items stacked outside his door in preparation for storage and we have witnesses of the cleaning lady stealing all of the boxes, just loading them up on a cart and taking them away! On top of that the complex acted like they were investigating and cared when we went above the office staff to find out that they had done nothing about it. Second issue is that the heating system is awful, the worst I have ever experienced and I have lived in old houses with horrible heat consumption. The livingroom/kitchen is always freezing and the bedrooms are sauna material and my electric bill was 200$ this month. Parking downtown in general sucks. If you try to park on the street you have to pay meters anywhere you park and if you do not move your car by 6:59am you will absolutely have a ticket courtesy of the parking nazis. The office staff, especially Shane, is super unfriendly and rude. There are always people sitting out in the front smoking weed and cigarettes. The elevator always smells like weed, along with the hallways. There are constantly beer cans in various places. A friend of mine on the first floor had her apartment broken into and possessions stolen. I believe the close location to the bus stop produces an unsafe area I have had scary men follow me into the building on more than one occasion and a guy followed me to my car and was banging on my window yelling at me for money. The workout center was nice till someone stole the flat screen TV, which they have been promising to replace for 6 months. Something broken takes forever to fix and the maintenance men were disrespectful.

I heard that the glass in the parking garage is so see through that a girl ran into it and almost broke her nose too. Absolutely unacceptable.
