I know that many people that read reviews believe that a few people with an axe to grind are writing bad things about the place. Don't believe it, dissatisfaction is so widespread at this complex that EVERY person I have talked with in my building, and that is most of them have said they are moving when their lease is up. After living here for several years, I am going as far as hiring an attorney to break my lease and sue the complex for Breach of Contract. I will also be meeting with the people with the City that deal with Code Violations. There are enough at this place to keep an honest inspector busy for months.
When I first moved here it was actually quite pleasant. Lots of trees, it was quiet, quality residents, satisfactory maintenance and an office staff that actually seemed to care about the Community and their Residents. Then came along the Madison Group, and the place has been sliding downhill ever since. They love to raise rent, and generate fee's, but they HATE to spend a dime to repair the rotted wood on the dangerous balconies, clean up the trash and dog sh.. that is everywhere. They started letting people bring pets in the size of small horses, and nobody cleans up after them. Trash floats in the pool, if it opens it at all. The decks are so rotten somebody is going to die falling through or falling off after leaning against the rotten rails. I won't even walk on mine any longer. The staff churns like butter, and you never have any idea if the person that made you all of the unkempt promises last week with be there this week. They are unresponsive and simply don't care. The only time they perk up is when you drop off a rent check. The Regional Manager,---------------------------------------------------------------------) isn't any better, either ignoring complaints, or sending a response that bears zero relationship to the problem. The current Manager will respond to you with lofty platitudes basically telling you that she "Shares your pain." Of course that's all she shares, she doesn't live in this run down dump.
STAY AWAY! The decks are falling off the building, the staff lies, the security, well lets be honest, there is none. Crime is high, with constant break ins and vandalism. If that's what you are looking for, then by all means move in. There is plenty of room, since the rest of us are running to the hills!

Please do your homework and check out the National Sex Offender Registry before you make such accusations.

Others have made that remark. Perhaps the office staff, who you are certainly one of, should check out your residents a little better.
