Madison is owned by an out of state corporation and they could care less about the property and its tenants. It has a culture of dishonesty and employs people with a complete lack of integrity. The lying will start from the moment you walk in and continue throughout your stay. They will show you a model apartment and than rent you a dirty apartment without cleaning the carpet and fixing environmental health issues. My apartment had mold. The Manager refused to repair it until the roof was fixed. When I requested to move to another apartment without mold she would only allow me to move to another apartment if I paid a ridiculous increase in rent. I finally had to report them to the KC Health Department and they did cite them and forced them to repair the damage and eliminate the mold. The Manager was a totally classes person, who probably lacked a secondary education and any foundation of ethics. At one point I asked one of the office workers how they could work for a company like Madison and she said that's just the way all company's are. I replied that there are plenty of corporations that are operated with integrity and that she should give it a try. My vehicle was broken into, and cops were a frequent presense as the quality of the tenants continued to decline.
