Worth the price'

When my roommate and I first moved in 2 years ago, it was a cute place for pretty good rent. My fiance and I just signed a 2 year lease, and a week later wished we hadn't. The management is deceptive or maybe just confused, but I feel like every time we go in there someone is trying to scam us. Luckily we read everything VERY closely and end up bugging them a lot, but I feel like if we didn't we'd end up paying a ton of money that we didn't need to. My biggest complaint is the HUGE rent increase over the past year. It would be one thing if they'd done some big renovations or something, but the only thing that has changed is that the building is aging AND some of the ammenities no longer exist (IE: a third pool and second hot tub that is advertised that haven't been open for almost 2 years). I don't think that's worth an increase at all.
We also have other small complaints that would take too long to list but add up to a headache (a phone jack with wires that end and don't actually connect to a phone line, raccoons that have been living in the wall behind my bed for 2 years that no one can seem to stop from getting in...)
It's not horrible, it's decently clean but I don't think it's worth the rent. My roommate has chosen not to stay here next after our lease terminates. Go down about 2 miles and pay a little more but get something that's worth the money.
