My significant other and I lived at Montreux on the Plaza for one year. The only reason we left is because we moved out of the area.

Our experience was wonderful!

1. The rate we paid for rent was very reasonable, especially considering the great location. We were just a short walk from two art museums, great restaurants, and the Country Club Plaza shopping area.

2. The facility was beautiful. The Spanish-style architecture and lush greenery made us feel like we were living in a resort (especially by the pool). On top of that, we had a beautiful view of the Plaza from our balcony.

There has been some construction lately, but it honestly never affected us adversely. The management and staff were very courteous, and other than having to take the stairs instead of the elevator one day, it was no problem whatsoever.

3. We really enjoyed the other residents - they were young like us, and very laid-back. We met a lot of residents right after we moved in at the annual party that Montreux throws for everyone, and we barbecued with our new friends by the pool on many occasions. Our last get-together was the going-away party we hosted by the Montreux pool a few days before we moved!

4. The management was extremely responsive and helpful for us in every case that we needed something. The manager has always responded to any questions or concerns we had, day or night. She even offered to take our plants into her apartment and water them while we were out of town once! This was a stark contrast from previous landlords/managers - a breath of fresh air.

Montreux in the Plaza was truly the best apartment we ever lived in. I'm sure you will find the experience to be as positive as we did!
