My fiance and I have lived here since October and all Pinehutst has been is a pain in the ass.
When we first were interested in the apartments it took them 3 weeks to even get back to us with an answer if we qualified to move in.. even though we got them all the things they needed from our employers and such. When we moved in we noticed the fine details of the apartment.
The third month there they lost our rent check charged us $30.00 for a stop payment on the check come to find out a week later they found it.. but where else... THE DROP BOX!! So they call our parents (not our cells) and leave a message saying sorry that they will reimburse us for the hassle to give them a call to talk about it.. So we did and what did the "manager" say' I never called and Im pretty sure no one else that works here did either. nice.
The fridge and oven are atleast over ten years old, the inside of the fridge is a nasty yellow from being so old and the sink in the bathroom looks like its about to fall apart. The faucet is corroded and the sink itself has been painted over a hundred times from getting rusted and flaking off. The windows are in crap condition one of them doesnt even have a screen.
We told the office in FEB we wanted it fixed for spring and its now almost MAY and no one has came by.
If you have a pet I wouldnt live here considering the deposit is $300 and you only get $150 of it back. It wouldnt be such a big deal if they would use that money to fix the pet damage in the apts. The bottom of our bathroom doors are chewed up and the corners of the window sills. And make sure you pay all of it else they will charge you $10.00 a day if you dont pay it on time and wont let you know they are charging you $10.00 a day untill 9 days later so your already screwed out of your money!!!
And now... We just got our bill for this month $920.00'' Oh but they let you know that they screwed your bill up by putting flyers on everyones doors telling you that your rent might be high or low that its come to our attention that everything is messed up!!!
This is definately not a comlpex for younger residents as everyone that lives here are families with 5 kids and the parents let their kids run around everywhere and Im sure when the pool opens it will be over taken by kids to where no one else can enjoy themselves.
We are seriously looking into breaking our lease and moving elsewhere as we would like to go a month with out worrying about these things that should go without worry!!!
