I do realize that some people really enjoy living on the Plaza, and they will deal with small apartments, and old buildings to be centrally located. However, these buildings are horrible. There are numerous plumbing issues, no hot water, old pipes breaking and flooding units. Many residents have issues with rodents. The heat never kicks on, it is on a broiler system that apparently has a faulty gauge, during the day, when it's warmest the heat will kick on and practically bake you out of your apartment, so during the winter you have every window in your apartment open so that you can breathe. But during the evening, you are freezing!! The maintenance staff is poor in picking up their mess behind them, they leave foot prints and mess on your carpet. The management/leasing staff is unprofesssional, unhelpful, and lack of grasp of customer service. I would not recommend living in these units if you spend any amount of time at home. However, if you are looking for a place where you never cook, do dishes, or want to call home, this place would be right up your alley. Otherwise, I would recommend you stay FAR AWAY from this community!

I would definitely have to agree that management / leasing staff is very unprofessional! I made an appointment to see an apartment last weekend. The day of my appointment I called to see if I could come an hour earlier, but was told that they were already booked for that time (which was fine). So I arrived at the scheduled time and the guy who was working that day was on his way out the door with a girl who I'm pretty sure was not interested in leasing an apartment. I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment, and suspect he was trying to sneak out before I got there. His excuse was that his earlier appointment was a no-show. So why didn't he call to say I could come earlier??? And how does that change the fact that I had an appointment? I WAS NOT impressed, to say the least!
