Ive lived in my apartment for almost a full year now. I chose St.Regis right on Ward across from Brush Creek. The lobby, hallways, and elevator are out dated and old but in a way they have their own charm. The crown molding is beautiful. The carpet takes away from that but I can see why they have it there-to prevent seeing dirt. However, I've also noticed a cleaning lady come through each hallway once a week to vacum and clean which was unexpected. The best part is the roof top deck which no one even told me about until I discovered it on my own!

The apartment itself is large, clean, and bright. The bathroom is small and the kitchen is outdated but the living room and bedrooms have new carpet, fresh paint, and new light fixtures which make it seem updated. Never hear any noise or have had any maintenence issues. The bath tub/shower is new. I've peaked into other apartments when the doors where opened and they had older fixutures, I may of just lucked out.

Parking is hard. I live on the Plaza and get home from work way before everyone else and I still have a hard time finding a place to park. If I had more income I would def. by a spot. Some cars wont move from spots for days and you wonder what those ppl do all day long! It gets hard in the winter when there is ice and snow. Sometimes you just park and hope you dont get a ticket.

Overall I love my apartment. Aside from the hallways and parking..the location is amazing you couldnt ask for anything better. With a little decorating the apartment is just as nice as any of my friends living in Overland Park. Plus its under 600 dollars which you cant beat anywhere. I would reccomend this apartment to any single female or male just starting out. Perfect for new grads like I was.
