The maintenance is absolutely horrible. they enter whenever they want and track their dirty shoes all over the cheap beige carpet we're given. And if you want to know if your request has been done- you probably need to call because it is not at all obvious that it was completed timely, and they do not leave notes. I had a maintenance request that took 5 times (closet rod and supports collapsed) to fix and also ended up getting my locks changed because the management made a mistake and put a package in my apartment that wasn't mine and they kept coming in my apartment to try to find it. I hid them and knew they were coming in because they would track debris in. They never even bothered to call and ask me if I had the package, so a week later I went in the office and asked why they didn't bother to correct their mistake.
the building runs on steam heat, which is either way too hot, or isn't on at all when it is cold. The shower temperature: if I want hot water, I have to turn on the hot first otherwise I will only get cold, but the hot is scalding.
other than that I really like living here; I just wish they would fix the incompetent maintenance and be more courteous to tenants by leaving notes when they enter. Or would they like to be sued when something comes up missing'
Oh yeah, managment has changed twice in the year and a half I've lived here.
