Their one-bed room apt is now $825.00/per month. It looks beautiful outside. Read my story and you will know some real thing inside. I moved to this apt a week ago. Upon entering the apt, there was a big spider web on the right corner of the living room, and the dryer and dish washer were terribly dirty and never cleaned.
The worst thing is that there is a terrible odor in the apt and it is from the living room carpet. The carpet was still wet when I moved in so I thought the odor would disappear when it becomes dry. 48 hours later, the carpet was completely dry and the odor became stronger and stronger. I called the staff and they had a carpet cleaner come. The staff told me the odor was because the previous tenant had a dog and it smells like a dog's pee pee. After the cleaning, they asked me to smell if it was better. I told them the odor seems better because the detergent smell was really strong. 12 hours later, I feel like sitting in a bathroom never got cleaned a hundred years. It just smells like urine. I talked to the manager and this time she said 1) I had signed the lease and agree to live for whatever condition. 2) I told them the odor was better after cleaning and she is not going to change the carpet.
Finally she said she can have the cleaner come the last time. As she said, the result will be the result. She is not going to change the carpet because the carpet looks "in good shape". We will have to pay a higher rent if we want a clean carpet.
