The new management is incredibly inconsiderate of the current residents. I understand making us leave because they are turning it into condos... but they cannot violate fire code while renovating the townhomes. Many times have my front and back door been blocked because of construction. This is incredibly unsafe. The townhomes are already in horrible shape, now they have to make it impossible to maneuver around construction or sleep in on the weekends. Every day there is either jackhammering or banging on the roof and siding that starts at 8AM and ends when the sun goes down. It is like torture. I do not reccommend living here whether or not the construction stops. We should not support the cres management regime.

in response to the complaint about construction/renovation. When do you suppose the work would be done? I propose that 8am is actually NOT early at all. If you're asleep at 8am, there's probably some other stuff going on in your life that you need to cut out so you can live like an adult.

Actually, after happily living here for the last 4 years I have learned that there are many residents who work in the service industry and do not arrive home from WORK until 11 or 12 PM, then returning to work at 4 PM the next day. Shouldn???t they be allowed to sleep past 8 am? How childish of YOU to assume everyone in the world works 8 am ??? 5 pm. I agree 100% that the ???Quality??? of Quality Hill has gone down rapidly since CES Management took over. Upgrades to public areas of the buildings have taken way to long and inconvenienced residents with minimal response from management. Maintenance response time is very slow and office staff is rudely unprofessional with residents. When I dropped of my rent check on August 1st the office employee actually snatched the check out of my hand made the comment ???It is about time??? and walked off. I understand that when living in apartments there will be some noise from other residents, but the noise level has increased with parties, yelling in the hallways and outside, slamming doors, etc. Highly recommend that if you are thinking of moving to Quality Hill Apartments rethink that decision.

I happen to be a physician at Childrens Mercy Medical Center. I am currently in my internship and work 100 hours per week. My schedule is very strange but I think because I pay rent I am entitled to my sleep still and peaceful living. The construction not only occurs during the week but also on Saturdays and Sundays. I am only trying help people live in a place where they will be appreciated and their concerns heard.

The last day I lived in this place was the best night I ever had there. Of course, I was awoken at 2 am by a house party in the apartment above me which went for 4 hours. Then I fell back asleep at 7 am and was awoke by saws and dust falling on me. That was a good night. I managed 4 hours of sleep. Where I lived, before they kicked everyone out to jack up rents, I was getting a 1200 square foot apartment, 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a parking spot in the ramp for $850. When they booted everyone out, they slapped some cheap latex paint on the walls and charged $1200 per month for the same thing, only now water, sewer, trash, and the parking spot are extra. So you are going to pay about $1300 for the exact same apartment I paid $850 for two months ago. Word of advice: IF you see "Cres Managment" on a building, keep looking. BTW, I lived in the same building as the physician who posted above. It really is that bad. We had someone that cut the water supply to our apartment, and then it leaked into the ceiling causing it to sag, then buckle, then mold. They ripped out carpet 4 months before my lease expired, so I had to walk across this sticky gooey mess for months. We were under seige basically. The point was to make it as horrible as possible to get everyone out.

The new management is terrible, when Charlotte left, that was the death blow for good customer service at NQH.
