I moved in about 3 and a half months ago. The day I signed my lease I came back to show my two small kids their new home. THERE WERE ROACHES all over the kitchen. (I guess that's why they had me sign my lease during the day.) I called and left a message that night. I STILL HAVE ROACHES!!!! My tiles in my bathroom were knocked off the wall by outside construction and took over a month to fix. I had plastic pinned to the wall for all that time. My BRILLIANT neighbors fell asleep with their sink running and water poored into my master bathroom and the hallway outside my apartment at 2am. THANK GOD I WAS AWAKE TO TELL THEM TO TURN OFF THE WATER!! Again, it took over 3 weeks to have my bathroom fixed. The paint job in the whole apartment could have been done better by Hellen Keller herself. The fuse box was painted over, so were the exposed beam ceilings showed in their pictures. I would NOT suggest moving here and cannot wait to get out of here!!!

I agree! They suck! I lived there for 3 years, they kept offering me better deals to stay and it wasn't as bad at first. But after a while our roof collapsed in our bedroom due to rain. They took months to fix that and left a bunch of junk in our room on a daily basis to fix it. Our air conditioner and water heater were ALWAYS having problems, we eventually had to get a new one installed, and then the guy installed it wrong and it had a short in it, so another guy had to come in and fix it AGAIN. They charged us over $1000, excluding the deposit, when we moved out... due to "damages". They claim our cat tore up the carpet and it cost that much to replace. Bullcrap! They don't EVER fully replace the carpet at Regency unless it's terrible, and ours was nice except for in front of a couple of doors where our cat clawed at the carpet to get in the doors. In the past they would just cut that piece of carpet out and patch it! I moved into an apartment with carpet like that so I'd know! They are overpriced for the quality. They might've been worth that much years ago, but now, no. I never had much of a bug problem, but it all depends on your neighbors and how they take care of THEIR apartment. I never saw any bugs really, but I'm sure they were there.

UPDATE...I wrote the original post. It is now FEBRUARY and I still have roaches!! My neighbors have flooded my apartment 3 more times. The last time the water was pouring out of the ceiling fan. Nice electrical hazard!! They still have not fixed it. They told me that the carpets were professionally cleaned before I moved in and that the red marks were unable to be removed. BS!!! I used a $40 carpet shampooer that I got at WalMart and they cam out just fine. FYI..I got a call a few days after my first post (so much for annonymous). It was the office offering their apologies and telling me that I could move to a new apartment and not pay a transfer of lease fee. I would however be responsible for paying to have the carpets cleaned?! Why should I have to pay whaen 1 I didn't want to move and 2 they weren't clean to begin with. I opted to not move and it's a good thing I didn't. Shortly after that the building that I was going to move into had a small fire. My lease is up in April and it cannot come soon enough.
