I moved to River Market Lofts 5 years ago. The lofts were affordable and the grounds were well kept. After time though, everything started to go downhill. Every year my rent was raised. Seven times my front door was left unlocked after maintenance or exterminators had visited. The leasing office never gives a full 24 hour notice that they will be entering the premise, you'd be lucky to find out the evening before. Parking is a pain, you'll hardly ever be able to park next to the building and the brick road sometimes takes days to be plowed. Ugh, and there's always trash in the parking lot. Be forwarned also, most of the lofts have very light colored carpet that stains easily, so expect to spend several hours a week scrubbing it to keep it clean.
I'm sorry to be giving a bad review. There were several things that were nice about living there, it's quiet, within walking distance of lots of great resturants & bars and it's just plain cool to have such high ceilings. But after years of little constant irritations, I just didn't want to live there any more.
