Find someplace else to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/13/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   When I first moved into Roanoke West the management was good, the apartments were maintained, and problems were addressed quickly. However, the management changed and htings have gone downhill since then. My biggest problem was excessive noise. Many students live in the building and there is a loud party nearly every night. Numerous complaints to management accomplished nothing. In addition, because of the ocnstant influx of people into the building, calling it a "security building" is a gross exaggeration. I knew of break-ins while I was living there. And occasionally you would need to step over passed-out drunk people in the hallways. The building is no longer being well-maintained and things are not getting fixed. The washer and dryer are useless. Even if they are working, the clothes don't get clean and the dryer doesn't dry them adequately. Management didn't even bother to try to fix issues. It's a great location and convenient. But there are other, better places to live.
