I have lived here for a year and have not had a good experience. The walls are paper thin (management doesn't seem to know that) neighboors are complianing all the time to management that they can here you... but you can hear them too. Management isn't helpful at all. Every month there is somebody new in the office. Never there during the 'office hours' and it takes about 4 days for maintance to come fix a problem, and they are SO RUDE!!! Cars are always getting broke into. College kids are running around screaming outside in the early A.M. My bathroom ceiling leaks and the wood floors ar rotting. When I moved in they said that the paid someone to clean the apartment and it wasn't clean. They painted over old dry food in the kitchen (walls and cabinets) Green gunk comes out of my sink and the sink is always clogged. They also painted over the window (you can't open them) If you complain about something management acts like there is something wrong with you and normally doesn't consider it. They also may tell you that there is a laundry facility-- you need to ask to see it b/c it isn't safe at all, nor is it a facility. And to top it all of you think that you are safe since each building has key entrances but I found out that with your key you can get into any building. Trust me, it is worth paying a little more... But I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone EVER!!!

I think the person who posted this is confused with another apartment complex. There are several Roanoke apartments in the area. First off, Roanoke West has new aluminum windows and can not be painted over. Secondly, the current staff has been the same for several years. They have a cleaner on staff, not hired in, that keeps the hallways imaculate.
In the four years I have lived here, I have never had a work request that was not completed within 24 hours of being called in.
