I have lived at Royal Woods for a couple of years now and I pray every day for a good promotion at work so I can afford to move. If you like carpets that stink of beer and door jambs ripped off the frame - if you like mice infested apartments (believe me I use clorox like crazy)and guns being shot outside your window on a weekly basis - if you like finding bullets laying around on the ground (great for kids to eat by the way) - if you like "secured gates" that stay open all the time so anyone can get in - if you like windows with no screens on them so you cannot open the windows to get fresh air into the apartments - if you like cracks in the ceilings and above the closets where the apartment frame is shifting (ok - not their fault but they will charge you for it when you leave) if you like hearing the noise from 435 all night long because the seals around the doors do not keep out the noise - if you like being afraid to answer your door when someone knocks - then this is the place for you. On tthe bright side - maintenance is always quick and they do perform well - although I have never had them follow up with me to see if I was satisfied. I just can't give them a good rating because while there are some things that are nice (price is good as long as you are in a year's contract - let that slide and the rent goes up $140) but I think an apartment should be home and I personally would not keep my home in the condition the management keeps it in. I wonder if I went to their hmes would their carpets look the way they let mine look. It is an embarassment to bring friends and family over.
