A resident for 8 years but preparing to leave. It no longer feels nor looks like home.Previous manager kept property manicured but recent manager only manicures the first entrance to leasing office. Other entrances look horrible. spoke with other residents who voiced they are afraid to speak out. Here's a recent personal experience:Made a direct complaint to a contracted company after speaking to management who in turn contact management who then called me which violates residents rights. Found out from several residents who have resided there same length of time (now leaving or have left)that their rent never changed since move in date.My rent has gone up every year. New tenants are paying less than I have in eight years. Crime increase (break ins, security not consistent,.loud music)

Bravo for the renter who voiced his/her complaint about rent increase. But, God helps those who help themselves.Negotiation is the key.
Tell leasing that you are leaving unless your rent is lowered. That's what I do and it works. Get some balls.Stop whining and do something.
