What a mistake living here. At first it seemed ok. Management does nothing when you go to them with a concern as i found out the hard way they put NOTHING in your file. NOISE is horrible. Maintence issues. look up the property i did after i moved in ..... these apartments have been condemed before not very reassuring. They tell you what you want to hear and do nothing!!! Back in '07, this property did suffer sufficient management staff. It was in the process of losing a neglectful property manager and finding a new one that could take on all the responsibilities. Since then, the property has had 4 different managers, 3 of which, were not keen enough to hold down the fort. The 4th, well that is a different story... The current manager, along with the assistant manager, both work very hard and have turned the neglected property around into what seemed to be impossible. They actually care! They have fought, with their own blood, sweat and tears for all of their residents. They are careful about moving the right people in to ensure comfortability and have weeded out the "bad seeds". They stay on top of maintenance issues to ensure prompt results and maintain happy residents. Even the maintenance person goes out of his way, above and beyond his job description. All resident concerns are addressed immediately. The property, whether or not it was actually "condemed", was purchased by the current owner (years ago) so that dramatic changes and improvements as well as rehabilition could be made and had been done so quite successfully. Even still, management, as well as the owner, is striving for continoul improvements. This property is not managed by a private management company. It is managed by the dedicated employees of the owner company. With well over 300 employees, ample support is at Stonewood's fingertips and utilized efficiently. The owner company has been successful for nearly 30 years because they have the knowledge and tools to run successful properties. They have distilled those tools into each employee. Guidelines and procedures are followed by the book with the strictist of authority, to ensure smooth operation. Stonewood is a well oiled machine and a proud contribute to the community.
