I am still undecided on how a like living here after a year. It would be better without the noise from upstairs. Before they moved in, I really liked it. I hate children and I have to listen to screaming children running around all day long. They make pictures on the walls bounce, no joke!
I had a problem with a toilet. Maintenance came out quickly and replaced it and works great. In the process, they broke the soap dish in the shower and tore up the bottom of the tub. The toilet isn't in the same place as the other one so now you can see torn off wall paper behind it and nasty marks on the vinyl floor where the old one was.
One day during the winter time when it was very cold, the people upstairs started their shower and left in running to warm up and didn't watch it which caused a flood in their apartment which came down through our vents.
I realize that you get loud morons who have no respect for their neighbors anywhere you live so I don't want to beat up on Tanglewood too bad. I think if it wasn't for them I'd be happier with the complex.
On the other hand, I have seen drunk people running around naked in the street and the people above them get in a fight and leave in an ambulance.
The one good thing I can think of is no cars have been stolen or broken into that I know of.
I would reccommend this complex to a friend only to get the referral bonus. I feel sorry for anyone who lives below or around the people upstairs from me. If you decide to move into this complex, make sure there are no kids or fat people who stomp around living upstairs from you.
