This place starts off being dishonest to you..They get you to rent by telling you if you sign a 13-month lease that your rent will not go up..The rent does go up by $20-$25..If you question the above, you will be told that what you are paying isn't the actual renting price (ie. they will tell you the apartments are worth some $700 )..So in actuallity the rent will go up until you reach the price of the apartment..I only stayed here as long as I did because the price was still in my budget & the other aparment places were looked just as bad as this one..The apartments are old & look old..They do the minimal amount of work to get the apartment to look good & they won't replace something unless it seriously doesn't work..If you have special circumstances, (ie. buying a house or coming down w/ a terminal illness) they won't let you out of your lease..As far as utilities, due to the oldness of the place you don't really save on utilities as much as they try to tell you..DO NOT RENT FROM HERE unless you only plan on staying here for 13 months..

Imagine that you signed a 13 month lease, and you do not understand why you cant break it to suite your pupose. I am sure any other contract that you sign for a home, car, or laon is going to let you cancel what you agreed to. I understand that most people have a option what they sign, but once you do you are resonsible for it.
