I have just moved in and noticed some good and bad things. First it seems that the new management is really trying to get people in the door and make things better. I am a 28 year old college student and I come and go alot and have seen a few people my age, although there are some weird people still roaming the halls..they seem to be nice enough and don't bother you if you just smile and say hi. Also for the price and the size of the apartment it is a really good deal. Although the "makeover" seems to have been pretty hasty and quick there are new appliances. Overall the apartments have alot of character and if you aren't looking for brand new these are in a good location and perfect for a single person. The bad would be the obvious neighboorhood..you do have to watch yourself when walking at night and people will ask you for change everyday. The biggest problem I have had so far was coming home the second night I was there to a big fat cockroach. I thought with a building that old there would be an issue like that so im not all that freaked out but it's a little nasty. I guess I will update as time goes along.
