It is what it is

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I have been living in the Ethans for over 2 years now. I chose the Ethans because it is a relatively spacious apartment for a very cheap price. That is exactly what I got, nothing more, nothing less. The carpet and flooring are cheap, but that's to be expected.
Maintenance overall has been very good, someone always comes the day that we report something that needs fixed -- we even got a brand new refrigerator the day after we called to say that our freezer wasn't working. The staff overall is pretty good, although does lack a little in the communication area (not returning phone messages). We did have a problem with very loud upstairs neighbors, and the staff took care of this very well, as soon as they sent a written notice to our neighbors, the noise stopped.
If you want a comfortable, very affordable apartment, the Ethans is good for that. I wouldn't advise living here for much longer than 2 years (I'm getting ready to move out) because carpet, bathroom, etc. all wear down pretty fast.
Overall, I am satisfied with the Ethans because it is everything I expected it would be. Don't move in expecting the Hilton, because you'll just be disappointed. But if you're trying to save money for a while, this is the perfect place.
