We moved into the Ethans in April 2005. In August my car was broken into and then in October my apartment was burglarized. We spoke with the apartment manager who was very courteous however it was the corporation's decision not to let us out of our lease. Even though the police department is less than a mile away it took them over an hour to respond on the apartment and no one ever showed up with the car. We do not feel safe living here and will be moving once our lease is up. My upstairs neighbor has been robbed also, plus others apparently.

Why did you talk about the poice? This is an apartment review not a police review. Sounds to me like someone is pissed off beyond belief because they got evicted for not paying rent.

I see his point. The way I read it was yeah while he complained about the breakins he also complained about the police. The police have their own area for criticism the ethans have nothing to do with that. But I guess what do I know I just moved in!

Umm No we did not get evicted. Unfortunately we are still here. However the corporate office shows no compassion and will not let us out of our lease. The Police are part of the community just like a neighbor. If you are looking at moving into an apartment you are looking at the community as well.

I have also heard of a lot of break-ins both apartments and cars, but I see the police around here all the time.

go to the police department right around the corner and ask them for a report that is what i should have done before i moved in! it is miles long. there are so many things on there from calls about noise to theft from cars and apartments to on site maintenance men drunk and disorderly getting the police called on them.
