I am sorry for your feelins. Let me say I like to read all reviews. I want to know what is being written about my favorite place to live. I am stating I do not work here and I did not previously know anyone in management before I rented from The Ethans.
I do have experience as a renter. When I lived at Bennington Ridge cars were broken into at night. Items were stolen from the cars and windows were busted. My friend's brand new car was shot out in the winter when it snowed. I was glad to leave after one year. Also management changed hands and things got worse. When I needed Bennington Ridge to fax proof that I had lived there and paid rent on time, everytime, I was ignored. I used my leave to speak with them in person. The response I received was "That's your problem." Luckily I had lived in my house for 28 years so their lack of customer service did not hurt me.
I have lived in apartments where people argued all night and slammed doors. The Ethans is setup to accomodate these problems. I am glad that the Police Station is close and I did consider that fact before I moved in.
Also The Ethans is a very large apartment complex. This fact must be included when you say that there are alot of UHaul trucks on the property. Sometimes people use a UHaul to move things later out of their storage units.
I really do not plan on moving because I do not want to give up what I have. I wished I would have seen you before you left. I would have asked you to discuss your problems with management before making a hasty decision.
Maybe you think you found a better apartment and I wonder if you will have any problems there.
I encourage any future tenant to come and see for themself. And please say Kathy Bullard recommended you.

The Management at the Ethans are a problem to talk to. They lie about walk-thru's, when moving out. This is a scam to get some or all of your deposit. The police station is a false security. There are serious crimes at the Ethans and nearby apt.'s, from home invasions to kidnapping. Read a lot of the other reviews, the car break-ins are a problem too. The police don't come out most of the time, they just do a report over the phone, if they do come out, they take over an hour ( so much for being close ). This person is one of the very few, that has or had a good experince at the Ethans, per reviews. I stretched my budget to pay $150 more a month, for the peace of mind, and it was worth it. I moved to the Vintage at Zona Rosa, I also considered Barclay Club. The staff is way more professional, and the apt.'s are newer, along with the crime reports being way down. Move into the Ethans at your own risk, do not say you wasn't WARNED per most reviews!!!!!

Kathy, I think I figured out why you are on this site so much. It must be because you get all your months rent free for dropping your name so much. You might want to rethink that. Someday someone is going to be angry with you for you talking them into moving into the Ethan's. And most people don't write reviews from hasty decisions. Nobody wants to take time to come on here, create a username and password, and rethink all the torment they have been through. But sometimes, when you have had problems for weeks or months with a place, and you feel you have no other way of getting justice, you take the time to actually write a review, hoping to save others the misery you have gone through, and hoping the people who work there might actually acknowledge that there is a major problem.
