A horrible, bug-infested nightmare.

I have to admit, I was fooled by the new paint. I moved here in October of 2004 and it has been simply terrible ever since. The biggest problem is the bugs. They are EVERYWHERE: spiders, roaches, and crickets. Pest control does its regular thing and it seems to have no effect whatsoever. I've had to invest in several cans of Raid. I even took to putting duct tape between the floor and wall, and still they came! I once spotted a roach on the ceiling right above my bed, I kid you not. After a few months I developed an unconscious habit of quickly scanning for bugs wherever I walked. When I realized I was doing that, I knew I had to get out of here. Unfortunately, as of this writing I'm signed through October 2005, and the penalty for terminating a lease early is a whopping $1,500 so I have to wait. Bugs aside, the appliances and fixtures are all disappointingly old. Everything is like it's from the '70s, and works about as well. I had to have the refrigerator replaced after a few months, and the disposal burned out around the same time. Anyway, avoid this complex at all costs. The money they demand is not worth the fear of wondering whether a roach will fall onto your face while you sleep.
