I have lived here for almost 3 months and I broke my lease to get out. The amount of problems I have had is crazy! When I first moved in I had an ant infestation in my kitchen. I called the manager and she said she would have the bug guy come out and spray. This involved a fat man from Terminix coming into my apt and spending 20 minutes talking to me about how ants live, eat, etc. He then sprayed a couple of small spots in the kitchen and left. Eventually I went to the store and bought my own ant killer and took care of it. Then I started having even worse problems, cockroaches, spiders, lightning bugs, you name it I have had it. And its not every once in a while, its multiple bugs every day!! I wake up and have to kill bugs, I come home after work and have to clean up the bugs, its ridiculous. Then the apt above me had a leak and flooded my bedroom and bathroom. The maintenance guy came out turned off my water, called someone to clean the carpet and left. He never told me I could turn back on my water, so I went without it all night. Then the water leaked into the light in my bathroom ceiling which then caught on fire! So then I had no electricity and no water! The manager never called me!! I finally called to see if I could turn my stuff back on late the next day!! So now its been about 2 weeks since that happened and I still can't use that bathroom, and I still have to spend time cleaning up and killing bugs EVERYDAY!! Luckily I am breaking my lease and moving this weekend. I am usually pretty patient about things, but the management is horrible. The manager, Kathy, does not return phone calls or make any effort to rectify the situation. Please do not move in to these apartments--you will regret it. They charge way too much for what you get. The neighborhood is horrible as well. All night you hear crazy noises outside. The backyard is covered with beer cans and trash---the list of issues is neverending!! There are so many places in better areas for a better price just a few miles away. This place is a waste! They are spending all this time and money painting and fixing up the outside but it would be better to spend some time fixing the inside of the apartments....like the bugs and leaks. I am not the only one, all my neighbors have the same problem!
