Three Fountains

From: Jennaratrix Date posted: 1/10/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006 1 response   I stopped in just to get the phone number for the office so I can call about a maintenance issue and read some of these reviews - I feel the need to correct the record a bit. I have lived in this complex since August of 2005 and couldn't be happier. First, I have never seen any signs of any discriminatory behavior. From looking around the neighborhood it is clear that people from all racial backgrounds live here, which would not be the case if there were discriminatory practices in place. So that call of racism is simply not true, and completely unfair. Second, it is standard operating procedure to show floorplans and price lists before showing apartments. Three Fountains does not keep a model empty which can be viewed at any time; all apartments are either occupied or in the process of being cleaned, painted or remodeled for the next tenant. It is not possible to drag potential tenants through apartments in various states of disrepair, as it would disrupt the work, delay the new tenant's move-in date, and possibly injure someone. As for showing apartments that people are living in - they don't do this, for a variety of reasons. One, it doesn't show the apartment at its best, as it is difficult for people to see how their furnishings would fit if someone else's are already there. Two, current tenants understandably don't want strangers trooping through their homes. I rented my apartment at Three Fountains sight unseen from over 1,000 miles away, based ENTIRELY on faxed floorplans, a drive through of the neighborhood on a prior visit, and the helpfulness and professionalism of the Three Fountains staff. I don't for one second regret my decision. It is quiet and well-kept, the few maintenance issues I have had have been dealt with promptly and effectively, and I have NEVER seen anything less than an extremely professional attitude from the staff. I would whole-heartedly recommend this complex and in fact have done so on numerous occasions. I hope this helps clear things up. I'm sorry that the woman in the "Lexius" claiming "Racism" had a bad experience, but with an attitude like hers (which has nothing to do with the color of her skin), I'm not surprised. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
