I don't really understand a lot of the bad reviews here, and I definitely don't agree with them. Compared to other apartment complexes around the kansas city area, this one is amazing and I really do like the people. I mean, come on, I have my large packages delivered to my door if they're at the office. Maintenance response would be the only small issue but it's not that big of a deal to us because nothing really gets broken. I love the space we have, I don't feel like I'm being ripped off, I never have an issue with parking, and if you lock your door at night then whether or not the gates are open/closed isn't that big of a deal. Don't go out at 4 am randomly and you won't run into trouble, it's not exactly a difficult concept to understand. I think a lot of the good/bad feelings have to do with location too. We're right by the office and maybe we get taken care of more because of it, I don't know. I've never had an issue with loud neighbors or really half the things the other reviews say. No one is forcing timber lakes on anyone, but if you're looking for a decent place to live in a decent price range (for a two bedroom with two people) in kansas city, I don't know what discoveries you've made because this is the best I've found.

you seem to have not experienced the realities of others in the complex. Maybe you have been fortunate but once you get out and speak to those in the hub of the complex you will understand things better. Have you observed the speeders on complex property especially from the visitors. Why does one have to reserve a parking place and pay for it when theoretically it should be a reserved space for the residents and not for those not listed on the lease whom take up a majority of the space in the complex. Garages filled with personal storage takes away from the parking available on a normal basis. Go to another state and rent and find out what they do to those not adhering to complex rules and reg. You get towed. Open your eyes and beware because all is not well.

This was obviously written by mgmt. Don't believe it. They spend more time--truly--trying to cover things up and decieve than they do fixing the problems. Do not believe this review!
