Timberlane Village

This was my first apartment in K.C., and I've had two since, so I can give a pretty detached and honest opinion. The apartment was nice enough, and my wife and I had no major problems. The maintenance crew was really responsive; they were much better than the maintenance at my current apartment (where I pay $350 more per month.) The only thing about these apartments is that they are in a declining area. Toward the end of our lease, we noticed that the surrounding area was getting pretty scary after dark. Bannister Mall is right down the road, and they cannot keep tennants because of the staggering theft problems in most of the stores. My wife and I pay more now, but at least we can walk outside our complex at night and feel like we aren't going to get jumped. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

I've lived here for 2 years and only had little things to complain about. The security level is bad because I've had my car broken into twice. That can happen anywhere though. The only bad neighbors I've ever had were evicted like a month later. I love the landscaping and the buidling I live in is quiet. If you get along with your neighbors, its a good living experience.
