I have had numerous encounters with criminal elements due the lax security within the complex. My car was recently stolen (NOT ONLY MINES BUT SEVERAL OTHERS). The gate is never closed, the "Security Guard" is hardly seen in the complex, and there are supposed to be surveillance cameras around the property but none ever catch any crime or other unlawful acts committed on the premises.

I am currently in the process of relocating now because I no longer feel safe within the "gated community" that it supposedly is, at least as they advertise it.

with respect for the fact that the vehicle was stolen i really feel for a person that has something stolen from them. it is an awful thing. I know the person that left this message and would like to state that we do have a very good courtesy patrol company,however,it does not matter where you live in the midwest, your vehicle can be stolen, and we never advertised cameras throughout the complex. the person that wrote this message was treated with understanding and Timberlane Village went the extra mile for her. (Just as we would with any of our residents.) I wish her the best of luck living in this city.
