The parking is one space per unit, however custodial workers love to slap stickers on your vehicle window when you put your extra vehicle in an empty units space, even if you're just unloading groceries.
The noise' You can hear every door that slams since none of the doors can be simply shut.
The parking lot grounds are horribly FULL OF POT HOLES, and you can seriously damage your vehicle just coming and going from home. The lamps along the parking lot 97% of the BULBS ARE OUT as in not working.
When it comes to construction the units have blinds that are old and out dated and they don t replace them even if you ve been there over seven years or more. The same with the tile on the floors, paint on the walls and so on. They replace by parts and pieces, but never solve a unit s problem otherwise how can charge you for more money when you leave, right' {Anyways, its no secret around there with the tenants.}
Patio doors are loose and the windows are as well. The draft in the winter is EXTREAM inside of the unit, and the amount of tape, plastic, and such people use to keep out cold air is just sad. We work just as hard to keep out the heat and the carpet is never changed even when you've been there over seven years and it needs it from worn out use over time. Those so called energy savers {control box on the wall} that controls your air in the summer {during heat-waves} is bad-news.
Sprinklers that are still shooting water on the grass and the flight of steps you have to climb WHEN IT TURNS COLD enough for the steps to now be icy, is still bewildering. I just don't know why we have to tiptoe slowly up icy steps when the summer is over, and it's cold enough for water to turn to ice. I've been sprayed on and my family and I have had to race up icy steps to keep from getting wet when it's cold out like that. It's wired to hear sprinklers going off when summer is obviously over, and frightful when trying to keep from falling down the flight of concrete steps cover with ice.
Maintenance DO NOT CALL OR GIVE NOTICES BEFORE ENTERING YOUR UNIT. Items come up missing, but your complaint makes, YOU the victim, a target for even more harassment. Maintenance plant themselves in such a way until they spend most of their time snooping about, spying out your comings and goings, which makes it even easier for them to know your daily schedule if they wanna hangout in your unit more often. They patrol NON-trouble spots for no good reason, and work as lookout informers for whomever they are reporting on hand radios to in the office. they are so difficult to deal with until you much rather live with things falling down around you than to have to call them into your unit. Things in your unit are worn out over time, but you deal with it, OR have rude men in your unit opening doors that have NOTHING to do with why you called. you close your doors to other rooms for privacy but when they enter they are opening the doors and looking into your closets, laundry room and such. it's terrible. They have no tack for what they do, and lack professional skills in being present on the grounds without being overbearing and appearing as a nosey nuisance. They are a botherment to see and an inconvenience when you must come and go. Often they have a poor excuse for putting the key into your door when they failed to realize you were home. I rate them a VEXATION.
They had one of the dumpsters removed and didn't tell the tenants of this coming change that seemed to happened over night. Suddenly tenants were going to a location to toss out their trash, and there we all were, hunting for the missing dumpster while looking for the next available dumpster. Streaming from one location to another dumpster further away lead to people driving their cars to the nearest dumpster to be rid of heavy bags of trash. The one dumpster now taking on twice the trash was already getting over it's share and under strain. Even though another dumpster near the now overloaded dumpster is also flooding and running over with trash, it just plain looks bad long before it's time for the trash to be picked up. There s furniture, and trash flooding them sooo bad until people just toss their bags in behind the wooden doors and let it land where it may. They have a new recycle bend but it's sooo far away, and who wants to carry two big bags of trash going in opposite directions of each other' My opinion, put the other dumpster BACK.
Staff' There are only two ladies in the office that are very good workers, and the management person is an offensive pain to have to deal with. She is the plague of the complex.
OVERALL RATING; I would give no star if zero was provided. It is never THINGS that is a problem, but it is the people in charge that determines how doable living in a certain place is. The place could be anything but perfect, even below average and still I would stay. Why' If the head that is in charge is ruled by notable guides, judges with authority that is honorable and professional, and can effortlessly render professional curtsey like unto a president of dignity and value towards his dwellers, then it is this place that people can call HOME and never wish to move again. Simply put, People are looking for a resting place and Timberland is NOT bringing it to the table. Timberland has been marked as interested in only the M O N E Y and this whisper is proving more and more true with each passing micro second.
Pet' People got pets and it is hard to believe they are all paying to have them there. just my opinion.
Yes, I wish I had pictures.
