Although the apartments of this building offer inexpensive rent for a great location with spectacular views, it is prudent to look elsewhere. Employees have been extremely unethical and dishonest regarding information concerning the building. Hallways of certain floors linger of what smells like cat urine. Expect to pay higher electric bills because of the drafty windows and inefficient air-conditioning units, which are also noisy. Utilities will run higher on the west side. The elevators are out of service on a regular basis. Security is a major issue of the building. Vehicles in the underground parking are broken into and vandalized on a regular basis. Personal safety should be a concern while in the garage. Many drunks looking for a place to loiter along with the homeless frequent the building. Doors to the individual apartments are extremely thin and therefore do not provide protection against potential intruders. Despite the semi-aesthetic pleasing aspects for a low price, it still more cost effective to move elsewhere because of higher utilities and potential for personal property loss.
