Unfair management

I lived in these apartments for 11 years and loved living there. They weren't perfect by any means, but I loved the wooded feel of them. The apartment was nice for the price. Bugs and the heat going out occasionally were my biggest problems. However, whenever I did have something that needed fixing, the maintenance man was usually there that same day to fix it. I made alot of friends with neighbors and felt at home. I THOUGHT I even got along pretty well with management.
However, after living there 11 years with my daughter, I was pregnant and needed to move to a larger apartment. I inquired about a 3 bedroom apartment. I THOUGHT that the fact I had been a good, dependable resident for 11 years might give me an edge on getting a 3 bedroom, but I was wrong. I was told there were alot of people on the waiting list for a 3 bedroom apartment. BUT HERE IS THE REAL KICKER: I was told that they DID NOT WANT CHILDREN LIVING IN THE 3 BEDROOM APARTMENTS!!!! Can you imagine that! HERe they allowed children in the 1 and 2 bedrooms, but saved the 3 bedrooms for older couples or even single people without kids!!! I had been a good resident for 11 years, and this is how I was treated.
So yes, the apartments were good to live in - as long as you don't mind crowding your family into a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment! Leave those 3 bedroom apartments for the couples and single adults!!
YEs, it has been awhile since I lived there, but I don't believe there has been a change in management.
