Don't bother - great apartments, awful service

Sorry this is so long, but this place looks really good, but don't believe it. Most of the staff here is helpful & friendly, they just don't know what they're talking about. When we were looking at the apartment, our leasing agent told us that all fireplaces came with glass doors, not just the screens we were seeing. Found out they don't after doing the move-in checklist. It's also listed as a "gated community" with SECURITY gates. The gates never work right. We were informed first that the gates were always closed after six, when the office closes. Then, after a couple of months, we were informed they were closed after the clubhouse/gym closed at 10pm. About a month after that, 15-20 cars all got broken into the same night, so the office got a lot of complaints about our screwed-up gates, so they put in our little monthly news letter that the gates are NOT security features, they are for decoration only! So, why the key cards, and why ever shut them'''' Also, maintenance takes forever to respond to anything, then they come in & don't fix anything (had it happen with the fire extinguisher and smoke alarm that didn't work, as well as a bathroom sink which still leaks).
