Not a safe place to live

I lived at Whispering Lakes for a year, it was really nice when I first moved in - now they are section 8. The place had gone downhill the last 4 months I lived there. The property looks nice when you drive by, and the inside of my apartment was nice becase I kept it clean. BUT - the grounds were always trashy, broken bottles, toys, just trash all over. The geese and ducks that live on the lake poop all over everywhere near the front of the property. The police were there almost everyday for one reason or another. I saw several domestic disputes, people fighting, a fire, cars getting broken into. The maintenance staff was good and helpful if anything ever broke, I think that there is just not enough of them to maintain the property well. Plus, the type of people that live there now don't take care of their places. The office staff was okay, pretty unorganized at times. A lot of different people would come and go working there. There was never a place to park, if you did rent a carport, someone else was always in your spot. There is a lot of noise there, people at all hours of the night, loud music and cars. The "aminities" were horrible. The fitness equipment was old, most of it didn't work and it was dirty. The hot tub dial would not stay on, so you would get in, and it would turn itself off. It was also dirty. The paddleboats and fishing boats were never available or broken. There are also gates at the entrance, but they NEVER work. I would tell people for the price, don't live here...it is not worth it. It is really an unsafe place to live.
