I had the pleasure of living in Whispering Lake Apts in 1997, I was a resident there for 2 years, while I looked for a permanant residence. Although this place has went down hill since I lived there. In 1997, the Manager, Ms. Vicki, was very friendly and always made sure maintenance items where taken care of. I still have friends who live at Whispering Lake and say that the new Manager is rude, and uncaring. They are ready to move. The office staff of the Assistant Manager ( long brown hair) not sure of name is very, very unprofessional and discriminating. I believe a strong office team makes residents want to continue living there. It is a shame they no longer have Carol, Ms. Vicki, Bonnie and the great maintenance team they once had. I used to be able to have friendliness and competency by such a great staff. The Maintenance is not very well trained and many of the residents say that they have items over six months old that have not been taken care of. It's a real shame you lost the best "Staff in KC". In the Apartment Buisness people are your most valuable commodity.
