Read before living here

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006

I have lived here since August of 2005. At first i liked it considering all the other crappy apartments I looked at. But after awhile things got bad. First when I first moved in maintence was supposed to fix a few things around the apartment like one of the cabnets in my kitchen was about to fall off and they never came to fix anything. No wait they did fix a clogged toliet I had but it was raining that day and the dude trailed in mud and then scratched up the toliet. The parking is horrible. also when we first were moving in the dude that showed the apartment said they were about to exterminate. They never did and you always have silverfish all in your apartment. Oh and also they dont tall you when you move in but they charge you 20 dollars extra a month to live lakeside. The regular parking is first come first serve. And there is barely any parking spots up front so if there is no spots you have to walk like a mile to get to your apartment. The idiots that live here though never go anywhere all day every day so all the spots are always filled up. One thing I can disagree with some of the other reviews is about the cars they tow. These idiots that live here whenever there isnt a spot for them they take someones covered parking that that person pays for monthly , or the idiot will park up on the curb or in front of the dumpsters instead of parking in the back parking lot. They have a gate but again there are idiots that live here and everytime they put the gate up someone always runs into it. The thing costs about $15,000 to fix so they dont fix it often. When the gate is up a bunch of ignorant people that do not live here try to get in and they will just push a random name on the screen and the gate will call that persons fone. This happens 24 hours a day even at 3 or 4 in the morning. I heard this place looked real good when they first opened but afer they started accepting section 8 the place went downhill. my neighbor works here and she says that the place is in debt over there heads with the landscape people so all the grass is always brown and the flowers are always dead. And because they are in debt they really dont fix up the place much. The roads in the apartment complex have many many potholes and there are nails in the groung sometimes from the maintence people which I have gotten a flat from. The weight room Has all old and rusted equipment. Half of the stuff is broken. Also about the pool and hottub you cant go to it when the leasing office is closed because awhile back some kids that didnt live here vandalize it or something. And also noone knows this but I heard this from my friend that works here the pool will most likely be closed in 2006 because its all cracked and pretty much leaking and its probally not going to pass the inspection. Oh and one last thing, a couple days ago someone in the building next to mine was shooting their gun at the ducks in the lake.
