They are never going to fix anything

The day of Thanksgiving the furnace quit working...my daughter called maintenance and they said no one is going to fix this it is Thanksgiving. It was 50 degrees or lower in the apartment and the kids had nowhere to go. Then the weekend before Christmas I noticed that there was a leak in the living room and another leak in the bedroom. Maintenance came, finally fixed the furnace, and poked holes in the spots where the leaks were. I called a couple of weeks later because I had heard NOTHING from them and they brought some big buckets to catch what can only be described as the filth that was pouring into our apartment by now. I have had to remove pictures from the walls because the crap oozes down the walls leaving brown streaks. The entire ceiling in the living room is bowed out. The ceiling in the bedroom bowed out and then a section that is 4ft by 2ft fell. Gross. Yet, I continued to pay my rent, I was told that the owners had released funds to fix the roof and work would begin when the weather cleared. Suddenly last week I received a call from the manager, a woman named Kiva. She threatened to evict me because a friend of my sons has been spending some nights with us. I feel that the real reason I have been threatened with eviction is that I am 43 years old, I have been around and I know that I do not have to live like this. I came in to this apartment by default, my kids rented it initially and then circumstances caused me to move in. The appliances were not cleaned, the ceiling fans were not cleaned. The windows seemed that they have never been caulked. The wind causes the blinds to move. I cannot plug in a blow dryer in the bathroom because it will blow a circuit. If this happens I walk to the closet, which is dark because the socket does not work and find the circuit box to turn the power back on. I also would bet money that the positive review I see on this site was written by the management of this complex. Of course you can get approved easily, if you are 18 years old and you have a job you can rent here.
Don't move here. You will be nothing but sorry.
