I have been at Cherokee Village Apartments for 7 months now and so far, so good. The management is really friendly and never difficult to find/get ahold of, even though the managers don't live on site. We have had a few problems: broken water heater, dishwasher literally fell out of the cabinet, and rotting flooring on the deck, however, these problems were all fixed promptly.

The neighborhood is fairly quiet, as the apartment complex is at the end of a dead end road, so there isn't much traffic or activity. I rarely see many residents, but from what I have seen, they are generally older.

This is a nice, safe place to live. You also get a lot of sq. footage for the amount of rent you pay. Like I said, I am a first time renter, but I have really enjoyed living at Cherokee Village thus far.
