I lived in Jefferson Park Apartments for almost two years. It is a horrible place to live, especially if you have children. There are no set areas for pet deposits so there could be surprise waiting for you any step you take, which not only is unsanitary but also isn't good for the children who like to play in the courtyards or surrounding greens. There has even been pet deposits on walkways and on the stairs. The management does a poor job of keeping all areas clean of trash. Trash constantly litters the courtyards and the parking areas. The garbage bins are especially unclean due to trash that litters the ground outside the bins, which is never picked up. The laundry rooms have washers and dryers that only work part of the time and the laundry rooms are also very, very dirty. Not a good place to go if you want clean clothes. The walkways and parking lot are not very well lit and I've had someone break into my car twice. When I spoke with a Liberty police man he told me that Jefferson Park is one of the most high crime areas to live in. When I have spoken to management their main concern has always been getting the rent money, not tennant complaints or suggestions.
