I have lived at Jefferson Park for a year and will be moving shortly. I have complained to management on numerous occasions about the loud music and parties in the apt. above me and each time management would tell me something different that I would have to do in order for them to take care of the problem. First it was three phoned in complaints, then it switched to putting my complaints in writing, then to swearing out a report with the police and signing a complaint. At some point the tenants above me were told that "I" was making complaints about the noise. This is a dangerous practice not to keep a complainants anonymity. The grounds are are never kept clean, there is litter, trash and dog bombs everywhere. The laundry facilities are so dirty I refuse to wash clothes there. There are ants everywhere and management refuses to exterminate them, stating, "We don't do ants." Their appliances are dilapidated and they refuse to replace them. I have a refrigerator that has duct tape all over it. I would not even allow my ex-husband to live at this complex...that should say something.
